What is the meaning of Additional Examination?

Additional Examination are to be held within 30 days of the declaration of results of Sem I to Sem IV. They are different from ATKT Examination. Also, they are to be held for
(a) Students who missed their exams due to some situation (the category will be decided by the Committee of College which includes Principal, Co-ordinator etc. Deliberate absentees should be disqualified. Case to case working will be the right of the College.
(b) Also the students who have failed and should be given a chance before awarding the ATKT as per the Committee.
Additional Examinations is a novel concept to allow students to clear the exam.
Papers should be competitive.
If student fails in additional exams also, he will be awarded ATKT.

As per the Amendments, B&I students will get Grade in projects. Please clarify the procedure.

The new procedure will be:
(a) College will appoint Project Guide and he/she will assess for 40 marks and
(b) University will appoint External Examiner for 60 marks.
(c) While filling the marks it will be the duty of the Co-ordinator to convert the total marks into Grade.
I hope this clarifies the position.

hi i am a student of fybcom, recently the university sent forms to the colleges for us to check our details and we had to sign after we had checked everything! i was out of town @ that moment and unfortunately could not sign....college then informed me that they had already sent the forms to the university by the time i had come back!(i missed it by one day)

so now what do i do? will the university inform me when i am supposed to sign!? or will they just assume that i am not doing bcom? please let me know fast! thank u

Suppose we are not clearing any of this 4 subject, then according to University we have to attempt all four subject to get P.G certificate, but as our results not declared how can we prepare for october.in what assurance we should pay so much fees for next year????

Mumbai-University.in is designed and developed by the alumni of The University of Mumbai. Through this site, we, together with you aim to provide answers to all questions related to the University of Mumbai. Although the University of Mumbai already has an informative site, a lot of answers are difficult to find. In order to develop further, the site shows ads, which are not intended for individual profit.

Why Mumbai-University.in?

Thousands of students search for answers to their questions every year. The Mumbai University official web site uses emails, phone support and their web site to provide answers to admission related information, dates, qualification, syllabus etc. But despite those efforts, many students have questions related to migration, or questions that demand opinions of other students that only a dedicated helpline can answer.
